
MRL Project Manager (Hybrid)

- Drive MRL timely advancement performance of assigned parts to drive down defects.
- Support operations and module center manufacturing engineers to support Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) projects, source transitions, engineering changes, and technology insertion tasks.
- Report MRL progression status and milestone risks to senior leadership, internal and external customers.
- Identification and communication of project risks with Core ME, provide notification of risk reduction and/or quality improvement/cost savings opportunities to the operations MRL team senior leadership.
- Provide MRL team support to all involved departments cohesively.
- Oversee implementation and execution of engineering changes.
- Support timely MRL progression and hardware transitions from development to production for assigned hardware.
- Proactively work with suppliers to obtain required data/documentation for MRL progression, defect reduction and process capability improvements, including PFMEA, PCPs, Tool and Gage plans.
- Support, assist process qualification, certification and FAI activities as required.
- Travel up to 10%.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (manufacturing, industrial, mechanical) or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in operations and manufacturing engineering
- project management experience
- Strong understanding of process control via PFMEA
- Up to 10% travel may be required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across organizations
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written), work and relate with people at all levels of the organization and be self-sufficient.
- Effective team player, can share, coach and contribute freely in a team setting as needed.
- Excellent knowledge of MS office computer software including MS Word, Excel,
- PowerPoint, NX, and Outlook.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ACE/CORE/ 6 Sigma knowledge and/or certification.
- Strong understanding of other continuous improvement skills
