ILUS - Project Engineer - Structural

- Plans, schedules, and coordinates engineering work to existing storage equipment to meet customer requirements; may work on phases of a larger project or an entire smaller project
- Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements and specifications
- Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems
- Creates approval, permit, installation and fabrication drawings using Revit & AutoCAD
- Obtains material and product quotes from vendors and issues purchase orders
- Monitors the project schedule, engineering time, and project budgets
- Works with other disciplines on the project team to ensure the engineered solution and all equipment fit within system confines and constraints
- Travels up to 10% in North America, mostly within the Continental United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Architectural or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience
- Previous material handling or construction experience or previous structural steel detailing experience a plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD; and Microsoft Office
- Revit experience is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple project assignments and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced results-oriented environment
- Ability to learn the material handling business and assist across teams and divisions
- Ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers, vendors, consulting engineers, architects, and installers
