Adecco is sourcing a Quality Assurance Specialist for Direct Hire, for our client located in Williston.What You'll DoDevelop and Deliver: Write clear and accurate Quality Contract Instructions (QCI), Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and procedures based on customer requirements and technical specifications.Manage Documentation: Prepare and submit QA-related documents to customers, and follow up to ensure smooth project execution.Be the Voice of QA: Represent Quality Assurance in Velan project management meetings, influencing outcomes and ensuring compliance from the start.Enhance Standards: Contribute to the development and rollout of Velan's standard quality procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.Solve Problems: Evaluate non-conformities as an active member of the Material Review Board and help drive corrective actions.Ensure Compliance: Conduct internal quality audits, participate in customer and regulatory audits, and review/approve government and nuclear production orders.Support Supply Chain: Review and approve supplier purchase orders to align with quality requirements.Collaborate Widely: Interact with customer representatives, auditors, and regulatory authorities to uphold Velan's reputation for quality.What You BringBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of ASME/ANSI standards and material specifications related to pressure vessels or piping/fittings.Familiarity with ISO 9001 and NQA-1; auditor qualifications are a strong asset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Exceptional communication skills (English), with the ability to write clearly and interact confidently with diverse stakeholders.Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Detail-oriented problem solver with a proactive mindset.Why Join Us?On our team, you'll be part of a global leader in industrial manufacturing with a strong culture of innovation, safety, and quality.
