- Supervise the installation of commercial car wash equipment and understands electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Manages each installation project from the equipment delivery, through the opening of the car wash ensuring timely deliveries and a full successful completion of the project
- Coordinates with onsite personnel, sales staff, and upper management to deliver high quality, and on time projects
- Makes equipment recommendations based on the site and customer needs
- Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all installations and other projects to be completed
- Forecasts crewing needs to meet peak demands of the business and partners with the Install Manager to staff accordingly
- Train and develop install team and leads by example
- Effectively communicate goals and expectations to create onsite accountability
- Ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by the team
- Enforce a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Maintains continuity among team members by communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Maintains customer confidence by keeping location information confidential
- Maintains company assets, including service vehicles, tools and equipment
- Interact with customers reflecting courtesy, integrity and good workmanship
- Comply with pertinent safety codes and regulations, i.e., OSHA
- Understands that there may be other duties to perform as needed that are not itemized in this job description Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required. Preference given to Technical School graduates, Automotive Techs, Fabricators, & Installers.
- Five (7) years minimum of hands on installation or construction field.
- Ideal candidate will have a background in any Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Welding, Fabricator or Construction trades with hands on experience, or two years of trade school or equivalent infield experience.
- Prior experience in the Electrical, Automotive, HVAC, or Welding is a plus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Consistently demonstrates ability to recognize and deal with priorities
- Seeks guidance and direction, as necessary, for performance of duties
- Travel required.
- Will require proper coordination, and motor skills to work with power/hand tools as needed.
- Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing & installation environment.
- Must be able to work in non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air.
- Will require heavy work (lifting greater than 30 pounds). Ability to carry 50 lbs. for 100 feet unassisted.
- Machinery operation requires the use of safety PPE equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toe shoes, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted
- Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility. Ability to stand for 8 hours per day.
- The employee frequently is required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
