Accounting Clerk - 20hrs Part-Time - On Site

- Accurately enter and update financial data for accounts payable and accounts receivable in Blackbaud.
- Verify and mail payment checks to vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in the reconciliation of residential individuals’ bank accounts and processing payments.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial physical records and digital documentation.
- Aid in continual improvement, streamlining processes, and implementing automation.
- Clear communication and follow-up with other departments.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and flexibility.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding participants, staff, and all other CCARC members.
- To clarify and keep the Finance Specialist informed of any changes or deviations from current established procedures or need for modifications concerning any of the above areas of operation and activity.
- To assume any other responsibilities assigned by the Finance Specialist.
- Be cooperative and versatile; work as a team member.
- Associate's degree in accounting is preferred but not required.
- 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with automated accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Blackbaud).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Neat and accurate record keeping.
- Must have Reliable transportation
- Occasional lifting up to ten lbs.
- Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties.
- Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties.
- Ability to read and write in English to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary.
- Sitting for extended periods and completing repetitive tasks like answering phones and typing.
