This role is ideal for educators who thrive in dynamic learning environments and are committed to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.As an Assistant Professor, you'll deliver engaging instruction across classroom, online, and practicum settings. You'll also contribute to curriculum development, student advising, and academic committees-playing a key role in both student success and program excellence.Responsibilities:Teaching & Curriculum
- Deliver instruction across classroom, online, and clinical settings aligned with College philosophy and course objectives.
- Develop, revise, and manage assigned courses, ensuring evidence-based and current content.
- Provide timely feedback and remediation to students; support curriculum and program evaluation.
- Supervise and evaluate student applied practice experiences.
- Coordinate with agencies and departments to manage and assess preceptors/mentors.
- Advise students, address counseling concerns, and support progression and retention.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for students and faculty.
- Demonstrate scholarship through teaching, discovery, application, or integration per rank expectations.
- Engage in peer review, self-reflection, and continuous improvement of teaching.
- Participate in professional activities beyond the College.
- Support program development, accreditation efforts, and policy evaluation.
- Serve on committees and work groups; contribute to budget planning and data analysis.
- Comply with institutional policies and complete assigned duties.

- Experience in health professions education and applied practice
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement and academic excellence
- Master's Degree in the field of study required (Anatomy/Physiology) and Doctorate Degree in the field of study or related field preferred.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Experientially prepared to teach assigned courses.
- Maintains current regulatory and practice credentials, when appropriate, based on assignment.
- Meets all compliance requirements required for the discipline and role as specified in the Faculty Handbook.
- Excellent communication skills along with a high level of initiative and prudent judgment.
