The Tax Specialist - US (part-time) will be responsible to provide domestic and international tax support for the Roechling Industrial, Medical and Automotive divisions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Calculating, preparing, and filing Sales and Use tax returns in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Researching and responding to general Sales and Use tax questions.
  • Assisting with Payroll tax issues and questions.
  • Assisting with the calculation and preparation of State income tax returns.
  • Researching State income tax issues and questions.
  • Assisting with completing State tax registrations.
  • Working with tax advisors at law firms and accounting firms.
  • Respond to tax notices and serve as the contact person for tax authorities in the case of tax field audits in Payroll, Sales and Use tax.

Proficient in MS Excel, including pivot table and v-look ups. CCH Access tax soft-ware experience is preferred.The Rochester location is Röchling Medical's center of excellence for the production of surgical forceps for minimally invasive electrosurgical devices and also offers a broad portfolio of plastic injection molded parts and value-added assembly work for the medical industry.
