Travel Nurse Job Details

- End Date: December 8, 2025
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 PM 6:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880-$2020
- On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
- Weekend Coverage: Schedule determined by facility
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska (Nebraska RN jobs)
- Current certifications (AHA or American Red Cross):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- No license hits
- Ability to provide couplet care for mom/baby postpartum, circulate OR cases, and assist with baby admits/catch babies preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Must meet facility-specific compliance and background requirements Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- Perform triage and assessment of patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
- Assist with deliveries, including circulating in the OR and providing immediate newborn care
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care and maintain clinical records
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
