Job Description:Mercy Hospital JeffersonAbout our Rehabilitation Unit:We are also known as Acute Rehab, ARU or Inpatient Rehab.Rehabilitation nursing offers a gratifying career for nurses who want to use all of their clinical skills, make a visible difference in their patients’ lives, and work as part of a collaborative healthcare team.We provide comprehensive collaborative care to all adult and adult geriatric patients with neurological and other medical conditions of resent onset or regression and who have experienced loss of functions in activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, or communication.Frequent diagnoses: CVA, brain injury, spinal injury, amputation, hip fracture, joint replacement, and other neurological syndromes.We’re a Little DifferentMercy Hospital Jefferson is a 251-bed acute care facility located in Festus, Mo., providing 24-hour emergency room care and a full range of diagnostic, preventive and restorative health care services.Our mission is clear. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.Qualifications:
  • Required Education: Pratical Nursing Degree from an accredited school
  • License: current LPN license in our state or can be obtained within 90 days
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association, IV Certification within 1 year.
