We are seeking a Clinical Admissions Specialist to join our team of care coordinators. The Admissions Specialist will ensure the appropriate placement of clients throughout our array of treatment programs. The Admissions Specialist is the initial point of contact for our agency, and acts as the lead clinical liaison in connecting clients and families with the appropriate servicesRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Conduct clinical assessments based on verbal, written and face-to-face interviews to determine the appropriate level of treatment for our clients.
- Act as the clinical point of contact through admission with clients/guardians/referral sources
- Facilitate residential admissions which includes the completion of all required clinical and administrative paperwork
- Responsible for creating and maintaining client files in accordance with licensing and accreditation rules
- Create and maintain a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere in the office for all clients and staff
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
- Must have a Valid Ohio LISW or PCC
- 3-5 years of experience working in the behavioral health field
- Strong experience with clinical diagnosis and assessments
Expected Salary: $60,000
