Examples: We will rationalize time tracking systems from two systems to one. We will look to optimize time tracking and safety in our fabrication yards and project sites with IoT devices.Responsibilities:Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Under the guidance of their assignment manager, this intern role will work with various IT and business functions to:
  • Aid with documentation of current processes finance and/or time tracking-processes.
  • Use analytical skills to help improve existing finance and/or time tracking-processes.
  • Perform data clean-up tasks in McDermott's as needed to accomplish project objectives
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Shadow employees to learn complex or additional aspects of finance or time-tracking jobs in the industry
  • This position will work with various IT application teams and will learn finance and time tracking procedures
Qualifications:Essential Qualifications and Education:
  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or Computer Information Systems. Must have completed at least 2 years of college.
  • In 3rd or 4th year of college studies.
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Good communication skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Looking for candidates with an a career in Information Technology with a focus on back office corporate functions such as finance, payroll and time tracking and reporting.
