This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud, taking on complex technical challenges and leading hands-on development. Your work on core business problems directly impacts our strategic goals.You will work independently to architect and build solutions, while also acting as a key technical expert for the team. As you continue to grow, you'll have opportunities to mentor junior team members , influence engineering best practices, and contribute to the evolution of our technical roadmap.Your Impact:
- Own the Solution: Take ownership of the design and implementation of Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and long-term stability for projects.
- Lead Hands-On Development: Dive into complex technical challenges. Lead the development of sophisticated pricing rules, product configurations, advanced approval workflows, and custom Apex/LWC solutions.
- Drive Custom CPQ Initiatives: Leverage your experience to guide initiatives that may require building custom components or systems to supplement or enhance standard CPQ functionality.
- Master Advanced Configuration: Spearhead the adoption and mastery of advanced configuration engines (e.g., Logik.io) to handle complex product and pricing models.
- Integrate the Q2C Ecosystem: Design and oversee the critical integrations between Salesforce CPQ and our ERP (SAP), CLM, and other business-critical systems to create a seamless quote-to-cash data flow.
- Partner with Business Leaders: Collaborate with leaders in Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations to understand their strategic goals and translate them into a technical roadmap.
- Mentor and Elevate the Team: Act as a technical expert for the Salesforce CPQ engineering team. May coordinate activities and mentor others on the team.
- Experience: Job skills are typically acquired with a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a master's degree with 3 years of experience, or a PhD in relevant field.
- Salesforce CPQ Experience: 3+ years of focused experience leading the design and implementation of complex, large-scale Salesforce CPQ projects.
- Salesforce Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce foundational technologies: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Triggers, SOQL, Asynchronous Processing, and Platform Security.
- CPQ Mastery: In-depth mastery of the Salesforce CPQ object model, advanced pricing strategies, product bundling, and the Advanced Approvals module.
- Project Management: Proven track record of leading multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced, agile environment, with an ability to manage shifting priorities effectively.
- Integrations: Demonstrated experience architecting and building robust integrations between Salesforce and ERP systems (SAP preferred) for order management and billing.
- DevOps: Strong command of Salesforce DevOps best practices, including source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise deployment strategies.
- Custom CPQ: Direct experience developing a custom CPQ system or significantly extending a packaged CPQ solution with custom-built functionality.
- Advanced Configuration Engines: Hands-on experience with advanced configuration engines like Logik.io.
- Revenue Cloud Suite: Broader architectural experience across the Salesforce Revenue Cloud suite, including Salesforce Billing.
- CLM Tools: Deep familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools (e.g., Conga, DocuSign CLM) and their integration into the quote-to-cash process.
- AI-Driven Solutions: Knowledge of emerging AI-driven solutions in the CPQ and revenue operations space.
