We are currently hiring Speech Therapists who have a passion for building relationships with disabled individuals while educating parents and guardians to continue care. This In-Home opportunity is 1-on-1, with each client needing long-term, consistent services due to their chronic conditions. Serving this unique population, there is no need to go home to hours more of documentation at the end of a long day… Documentation requirements are minimal. This position is only for therapists who truly seek to become a trusted resource to families.CJPS Home Care is based in Scottsdale. Our field therapists are supported by Scheduling, Compliance, Billing and Clinical Quality staff. We take pride in our responsible infrastructure designed to support our forecasted continued growth.Responsibilities· Develop treatment plans to assist patients with speech problems such as delayed language, inappropriate pitch, stuttering, swallowing disorders or harsh voice problems. Treatment plans should be based on your own assessments as well as recommendations from social workers, physicians and psychologists.· Assess patient needs and adjust treatments in accordance with patient progression.· Evaluate language, speech or hearing test results as well as medical information and barium swallow results to diagnose and develop a treatment plan for swallowing, fluency, language, speech and voice disorders.· Document information and write reports with details regarding patient billing, insurance, evaluations, progress, treatment and discharge of clients.· Develop school programs or activities for individuals and/or groups to deal with language, swallowing, behavior and speech problems.· Teach clients proper techniques for achieving more effective communication, such as lip reading, voice improvement and sign language.· Instruct patients on how to strengthen the muscles of the face, tongue and jaw to facilitate improved speech.· Refer clients when appropriate to additional educational or medical services.Minimum Qualifications· Valid license to practice Speech Therapy in Arizona· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· CompassionateJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:· 401(k)· 401(k) matching· Continuing education credits· Dental insurance· Employee discount· Flexible schedule· Health insurance· Health savings account· License reimbursement· Life insurance· Opportunities for advancement· Paid time off· Professional development assistance· Referral program· Retirement plan· Vision insuranceWork Location: On the road
