If you have exceptional customer service skills and enjoy mentoring and training others to do the same, then we have the job for you!As the host you provide an exceptional dining experience while interacting with our residents and staff. When the dining supervisor is not available you assist with the flow of service, mentoring staff, and maintaining the dining area.At Friendship Village Retirement Community we look to hire the best of the best and those who are dedicated to going the extra mile.Duties:
  • Provide an exceptional dining experience while interacting with our residents and staff
  • Responsible for assisting with the flow of service in the dining room
  • Assist with the training and mentoring of dining staff
  • Receive feedback to help improve service related issues
  • May help with the organization with setting up and tearing down events
  • Work to maintain a neat and orderly dining room and work area
Requirements:
  • Previous dining experience (preferred)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Hours vary. Must be able to work weekdays 2nd shift and weekends 1st shift, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test.
