Position: Associate - Litigator Location: Maine (Fully Onsite – No Remote Option) Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Experience Level: Mid-Level (2+ Years Preferred)About the Role: Join a well-established legal team in Maine, focused on high-stakes insurance coverage and litigation. You'll work directly with clients across domestic and international markets, advising on complex policy interpretation and litigating coverage disputes, including bad faith claims and multi-district litigation exposure.Key Responsibilities:Litigate complex insurance coverage cases, including bad faith claimsAdvise insurers on multi-district litigation risks and strategiesAnalyze and interpret a wide range of policies (GL, D&O, Cyber, EPLI, etc.)Engage in motion practice, discovery, and settlement strategyServe as a trusted advisor to insurer clients across jurisdictionsQualifications:2+ years of litigation or insurance coverage experience (flexible for the right candidate)Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsExperience in policy analysis, contract interpretation, and coverage litigationJD from an accredited law schoolApplication Requirements:ResumeCover letterLaw school transcriptWriting samples (preferred but can follow after initial interview)Compensation & Benefits:Salary: $85,000–$110,000/year depending on experienceBenefits include:401(k) and matchingMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementRetirement planSchedule:Full-time8-hour shiftWork Location: OnsiteCandidates must have direct insurance coverage litigation experience.All conversations are confidential.
