
Entry Level Environmental Scientist

- The candidate will perform a variety of environmental support functions.
- The Environmental Scientist must be flexible, client focused and capable of working under the supervision of project managers.
- The work required is diverse and ranges from general field support to technical work that requires strong communication and organization skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub-consultants, and state/county/agency review staff, as well as have the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Expected to work in a timely fashion to meet project, client, and/or regulatory deadlines and project budgets.
- Responsible for composing technical reports, memorandums, and other written documents.
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science/Botany/Ecology/Natural Resource Management or related field required.
- 0-2 years of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Access
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or ARcGIS; Bentley software products a plus
- Current OSHA 40-hr certification and/or other applicable certification also a plus.
