- Collaborate with security teams to define security standards for AWS.
- Ensure suitable tooling and functionality is available to meet security requirements in the AWS environment.
- Connect with product teams to provide expert advice on migrating existing products into an AWS environment in a secure manner.
- Engage with security teams to ensure solutions delivered in AWS are secured to FICO standards.
- Provide AWS Best practice security guidance to all other FICO teams.
- Assist with Infrastructure Engineering team to design and maintain an appropriate AWS shared “Infrastructure" component, and in particular with securing the environment.
- Provide guidance on delivering solutions that deliver cross platform compatibility in a secure manner.
- Design, implement, and manage EKS clusters to support microservices and container-based applications
- Automate cluster provisioning, upgrades, and maintenance using tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, Helm, ArgoCD, or CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with application and platform teams to define best practices around Kubernetes resource usage, security, and performance
- Implement and manage cluster networking, ingress and observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
- Define and enforce RBAC policies, network policies, and compliance standards for secure Kubernetes operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in EKS environments
- Experience with multi-cluster, multi-region EKS strategies
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio) and Kubernetes operators
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Willing to adapt to the "you build it, you run it" model, taking ownership of services from development through to production support.
- Will be required to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Must participate in an on-call rotation and be available to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
- Weekday working hours - 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM PDT
- Weekend on-call can rotate every alternate weekend

- The targeted base pay range for this role is: $116,000 to $182,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
