- Provide group and individual therapy.
- Assesses and implements individual and group therapy programming utilizing current evidence-based practices based on the needs of the patient population.
- Collects, records, and maintains patient data.
- Provides resources and education to patients.
- Collaborates with providers, nurses, and other treatment team members to provide patient with the most effective treatment.
- Assist in keeping supplies and equipment organized and in working condition.
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Establish effective relationships with health care team members.
- Demonstrate skill in utilizing psychologically based information to establish good interpersonal relationships.
- Able to prioritize and organize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work well independently.
- Demonstrates and implements verbal de-escalation as evidenced by minimal special interventions.
- Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- BCS certification, current or obtains within 90 Days
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) within 180 Days
- MHP, or eligible within first 2,000 hours or four years of employment
- 1 year psychiatric in-patient care experience
- Group therapy experience
