Job Summary/Basic FunctionThe intern will assist MARS staff to research tasks related to advanced materials fabrication and development. Among other responsibilities, the intern will fabricate parts, prepare test specimens, perform experiments, collect and analyze data, and prepare summary reports.
Required QualificationsThe intern will need to be pursuing graduate work in Engineering or another related STEM field. Shop tool experience, additive manufacturing, composite materials, CAD experience, coding, Microsoft office. Self-motivated, able to commute to MARS Center in Clearfield, Utah, capable of lifting 50 pounds overhead.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or STEM related field.
