We will empower you to lead, develop deep expertise, and find new approaches to solving the toughest challenges.Position Overview:The U.S. Chamber of Commerce seeks an individual to help coordinate Association Committee of 100 (C100) and Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 (CCC100) programming and support chamber and association membership services in the Federation Relations & Coalition Partnerships Division.Responsibilities:
  • Work cross-functionally with the Events, Executive, and Communications teams to coordinate executive-level committee meetings.
  • Respond to general membership requests and update data for association and chamber membership in Salesforce.
  • Work with the senior director of the division to coordinate logistics for Federation programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications for C100 and CCC100 activities.
  • Create, edit, and manage the registration process and on-site collateral for events.
  • Coordinate and prioritize incoming member requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Update and maintain event and division websites.
  • Partner with the manager of Federation Development on membership activities.
  • Plan and provide on-site support for Federation programs, as needed.
  • Help plan and implement special projects and events, as needed.
  • Maintain organized records and files.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of related work experience, preferably with Salesforce or a similar database, event planning, or membership services.
  • Knowledge of website design and event management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating creativity, initiative, and problem solving.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to oversee multiple ongoing projects.
  • Outstanding verbal and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with members.
  • Committed to meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
  • A high level of professionalism, judgment, and personal accountability.
  • A positive and professional attitude and able to deftly interact with individuals at all levels.
  • A growth and learning mindset.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility for travel.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar membership databases, website management, and digital communication tools are preferred.
The salary range for this position is $45,760.00 to $58,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors.
