Demonstrates expert competence and clinical skills in the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
Assists in the examination and treatment of infusion patients. Expert in obtaining vital signs and documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Competent to independently perform skills including obtaining vital signs, checking patients in and scheduling patients visits, inventory, per overseeing nurses' direction, and any other duties requested of you within your scope of practice.
Assists nurses with obtaining patient orders, office visit notes, and labs from outside provider offices.
