- Execute Design Vision:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of automotive design principles, trends, and customer preferences to create designs that resonate with our target audience.
- Develop sketches, renderings, and 3D models to effectively communicate design concepts and iterate on them as required
- Drive Design Innovation:
- Bring innovative solutions to the table that challenge and improve the overall design vision, pushing the boundaries of automotive design.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and materials to incorporate them into the design process and create groundbreaking designs.
- Foster a culture of creativity and encourage the design team to explore new ideas and concepts.
- Manage Design Operations:
- Manage designers' schedules and project workload to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality designs.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to designers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of exterior and interior designs.
- Participate in design reviews, presentations, and meetings, effectively communicating design concepts and progress to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience, with 8+ years in automotive or transportation, focusing on accessory design.
- Demonstrated progressive team leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of automotive design principles, trends, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling software (e.g., Photoshop, Alias, CATIA, Rhino).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A portfolio showcasing exceptional automotive design concepts and executed projects.
