
Senior Equipment Planner - Denver, CO

- Lead medical equipment planning for complex healthcare projects across all phases.
- Interpret architectural and clinical programming documents to determine equipment needs.
- Conduct field assessments of existing equipment and develop detailed inventories.
- Develop project-specific FF&E lists using medical equipment planning software, PRCLs, or Excel.
- Coordinate specification, budgeting, and procurement efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and interpret technical submittals, cut sheets, and manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare planning documents and reports to support client deliverables and government submissions.
- Oversee equipment layout coordination with architects, MEP engineers, and user groups.
- Participate in regular design and construction meetings, track action items and milestones.
- Lead QA/QC review of equipment plans, installation drawings, and punch lists.
- Support vendor management including solicitation, pricing, and performance tracking.
- Travel for site visits, installation oversight, and user meetings as required.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare design, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment planning for healthcare facilities.
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and medical equipment planning software preferred.
- Experience with federal government contracting or military medical projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Skilled in building relationships with clinical users, vendors, and project teams.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and mentoring experience.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to walk job sites and conduct physical inventory reviews.
- Ability to travel to project locations.
- Professional, deadline-driven environment with collaborative team dynamics.
