- Employ centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems, and shapes government workflow / processes.
- Track performance, usage metrics, and future requirements for existing capabilities, including the search, discovery, storage, and retrieval of data.
- Enable information sharing among analysts and organizations by analyzing and shaping workflow / processes.
- Ensure proper security protocols are used to protect classified, proprietary, and personally-identifiable information.
- Provide analytics, dashboarding, and reporting on performance and usage metrics.
- Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Minimum eight years of experience relevant to database management, with at least a portion of the experience within the last two years.
- Experience using database back up, restoration, creation, and cloning best practices.
- Experience in upgrading and performing maintenance on databases.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor database efficiency and enforce approved controls/standards.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare reports for management.
- Experience manipulating data to organize data sets into retrievable categories.
- Knowledge of database design, application, and disaster recovery.
- Demonstrated ability to develop emergency data access plans and test them to ensure they are reliable and efficient.
- Understanding different database languages, data manipulation, data control, data definition and transaction control languages.
- Demonstrated ability to work semi-independently, with minimal oversight and direction.
- Knowledgeable of and demonstrated ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally; with strong grammar skills.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft 365.
- Experience with different database languages, data manipulation, data control, data definition and transaction control languages.
- Experience in all-source intelligence analysis, collection management, or intelligence operations.
- In-depth knowledge and demonstrable experience with the intelligence production cycle, executive intelligence production, and data science and related technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in an area related to database management from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
