Location: Johns Hopkins at Greenspring Station, Lutherville, MD -Assisted Reproductive Technologies LabFull Time/Days: 6:00am-2:30pmWeekend Rotations Required***Will Consider IVF Lab Specialist I, II, or III***Position Summary:
  • Reports to the Laboratory Director/supervisor.
  • With minimal supervision and in strict compliance with established policies and procedures, performs the specialized testing related to Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).
  • Routinely analyzes tests and results to ensure accuracy.
  • Participates in quality control, new procedure development and research projects.
Minimum Qualifications:Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology science from an accredited institution required.
  • Masters or PhD, preferred
Work Experience:
  • Experience in a human or animal assisted reproduction lab. 3 years required.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in a human assisted reproduction lab. 5 years preferred.
Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:
  • Technical Supervisor board certified by American Board of Bioanalysts, Preferred.
