  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM Field
  • 8+ years of job-related experience (Or Master's degree and 6+ years of job-related experience)

  • High Voltage DC Power Systems/Module design.
  • Experience should include multiple power topology design experiences from a few watts to KW+ converters
  • High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics, and HVDC technology
What sets you apart:
  • Expert-level understanding of electrical engineering, CAD tools, and mixed-signal circuit analysis/design
  • Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Circuit Design expertise
  • Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)
  • Feedback / Control systems experience
  • Power System architecture and grounding
  • Isolated Switching Converters
  • Transmission Line Effects in Power Systems
  • EMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE, etc)
  • Magnetics Design and High Speed Design experience are desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components
  • The use of specialized laboratory equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment, for development, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
  • Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
  • Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
  • This position is fully on-site with some Hybrid/Flex
  • While on-site, you will be a part of the McLeansville, NC Design Center
  • Ability to travel as needed
