Secure our Nation, Ignite your FutureManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Video Engineer to join our team for a program that supports a variety of customer IT requirements with a focus on providing productive and collaborative workspace to support dynamic mission requirements.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Performs a variety of complex engineering tasks of an analysis, design, or test nature requiring strong technical skills in one or more software and/or hardware engineering disciplines.Plans, conducts, and may supervise research, development, or installation of products and systems in conformance with engineering design and customer specification.Participates on complex project teams and provides guidance to technical staffRequires expanded knowledge and experience in own areaSolves a range of straightforward problemsRequires expanded knowledge and experience in own areaAnalyzes possible solutions using standard proceduresReceives a moderate level of guidance and directionWill not have any supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to new associatesUnderstands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own workSolves standard problems by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedentsImpacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policiesExplains information to others in straightforward situationsWill participate in some or all of the following activities:Engineering Services and Implementation SupportSurveysCreating engineering DesignsDesign review boardsEngineering Template DevelopmentProject EstimationAudio and Visual Equipment Testing and ConfigurationHours of coverage:Individual shift may vary, but you will be a member of a team that provides coverage from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.Support may be required outside of core hours based on customer & mission needs.Basic Qualifications:Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors across the customer base.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Ability to assess customer needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction.Demonstrated problem solving skills.Must demonstrate ability to thrive and succeed in a challenging environment.Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.Proficiency in many aspects of information technology.Exceptional customer service skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills due to variety of groups to be working with, such as co-workers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information.Resolving technical problems and answering queries by telephone or self-service that involve A/V equipment and integrated systems.Proficiency in the use of MS Office product suite.Knowledge of component and transmission medium compatibility and interconnection.Willingness to travel locally, as needed.Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.Preferred Qualifications:Related work experience in a technical help desk position.Experience with data transfer services.IAT Level II certification.Experience with ServiceNow ITSM & ITBM.Prior experience managing projects from low-mid complexity.ITIL® v4 Foundation, or higher, certification.Security Clearance Requirements:Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and computer printer.Must be able to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
