- Strategy Development: Develop and execute a total rewards strategy that supports the company's business objectives and enhances colleague engagement and retention. Keep up to date on rewards market trends and the regulatory environment and lead benchmarking of programs and processes against external best practices.
- Lead the annual compensation planning cycle, including benchmarking, merit, bonus, and stock for the global organization.
- Broad-Based Compensation: Design, implement, and manage competitive broad-based compensation programs, including salary structures and incentive plans. Partner with HR leadership team to steward Energizer’s job architecture and leveling framework - owning pay ranges, market benchmarking, and internal-equity guardrails.
- Executive Compensation: Develop and manage executive compensation programs, including base salary, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives. Lead the preparation and review of executive compensation disclosures for the annual proxy statement, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SEC regulations. Prepare materials and recommendations for the Human Capital Committee, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with shareholder interests in partnership with senior leaders.
- Short-Term Incentive Compensation: Design and administer short-term incentive plans that align with company performance goals and reward individual and organizational achievements. Develop and manage sales incentive plans that drive sales performance and align with commercial objectives.
- Long-Term Incentive Compensation: Develop and manage long-term incentive plans, including restricted stock units and performance-based awards.
- Benefits: Oversee Energizer’s benefits and wellbeing programs, ensuring they are competitive, inclusive, and supportive of a diverse colleague population. Partner with brokers and vendors to evaluate program effectiveness and optimize cost and experience. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international regulations governing colleague benefits and leaves.
- Retirement: Manage retirement plans, including 401(k) and pension plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with industry best practices.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of total rewards professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Serve as a consultative and technical resource for HR and business leaders on total rewards.
- Compliance: Ensure all compensation, benefits, and retirement programs comply local laws and regulations, align with the competitive market, and support Energizer company objectives. Maintain pay equity and ensure pay transparency aligns with philosophy and regulatory requirements.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience supporting Compensation Committees and working directly with C-Suite and Board-level stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Deep knowledge of compensation structures (base, bonus, equity), equity vehicles (RSUs, PSUs, etc.), and benefits programs.
- Familiarity with SEC regulations, proxy disclosure, and CD&A reporting.
- Strong modeling, analytics, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
- In-depth benefits knowledge in U.S. and demonstrated understanding of ERISA, governance, compliance, administration operating models and vendor eco-system; Understanding of regulatory requirements in Total Rewards.

- Experience in a global or multi-national company.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and CoPilot
- Due to emphasis on long-term incentive compensation for executives and director level management and up, experience with varied long-term incentive compensation vehicles is preferred. U.S. public company experience a plus.
- Professional certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS) is highly desirable.
- Experience with SAP Success Factors
