Location: Canton Potsdam Hospital, Gouverneur Hospital, Massena Hospital, and Regional Administrative Campus (Canton)
Hours Per Week: 40 hours weekly
Schedule: Monday to FridaySUMMARY:Responsible for overseeing the effective and efficient patient experience process across the health system, in collaboration with the Manager and Senior Director. Provides proactive rounding, education, and research to support patient-centered goals of the organization for the Corporate Compliance and Patient Experience department.Join our team in a role that makes a meaningful, non-clinical impact on patients and the community. While not providing direct medical care, you will support patient well-being through advocacy, service recovery, and initiatives that improve the overall patient and family experience. This position involves travel across our hospitals and clinics, offering a dynamic and system-wide perspective on healthcare support.RESPONSIBILITIES:Managing and Administering the SLH Volunteer ProgramCreating and compiling patient satisfaction reports and distributing to departmentsCollaboration with RRH on patient satisfaction data and Pulse reportingManaging and Administering the SLH Patient Advisory CouncilsPatient Rounding at each SLH facilityDevelop processes that result in proactive customer serviceWork closely with other departments and operational areas to ensure integration of the patient experience efforts with other strategic initiativesDemonstrate interpersonal skills and ability to build productive relationships with broad range of employees, managers and customers.Coordination of the patient experience orientation presentationsCoordination of the patient experience leader and staff training programsProvide administrative support for Compliance and Patient Experience departmentREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:3 years professional administrative work experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred1-3 years’ professional experience in audit controls preferredProfessional experience managing programs with successful implementation is highly desirable.3 years general healthcare industry experience.Professional experience in successfully performing software solutions, similar to:SafeConnect (Event Reporting System)EPIC (Electronic Medical Records)Press Ganey (Patient Satisfaction Survey Vendor)EDUCATION:LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
