Behavior Technician (RBT)Job OverviewAchieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you work with.Responsibilities- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)- Collect data on client behavior during sessions- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors- Maintain accurate and confidential client records- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordinationSkills- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records- Ability to work effectively in a team environment- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Must be at least 18 years of ageJoining our team as a Behavior Technician offers the opportunity to grow your skills in behavioral health while making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hourExpected hours: 15 per week (with opportunity to grow to full time)Benefits:
