- Understands customer demands
- Resolve customer service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment
- Continuous follow up on customer issues to ensure resolution
- Willingness to collaborate within the customer service team
- Manage incoming calls and emails
- Claims filing and resolution
- Route shipments and build Bill of Ladings
- Track shipments on various carrier sites
- Build and develop a thorough understanding of logistics and 3PL industry
- Point of escalation for customer and carrier issues
- Assists in training new team members
- Assists in managing the customer service queue
- All other duties assigned by management
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of both customer and carrier’s organizations
- Strong communication and phone skills
- Problem solving and strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Highly motivated with an ability to work independently as well as in a group setting
- Must have excellent phone and email communication skills and ability to multitask and assist clients after hours.
