Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion, and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.How you'll contribute:Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the standard of care for patient's ageProvides morning care which may include bed bath, shower or whirlpool, oral hygiene, combing hair, back care, changing bed linens, cleaning over bed table and bedside stand, straightening room and other general care as necessary throughout the dayProvides evening care which includes hands/face washing as needed, oral hygiene, back rubs, peri-care, freshening linen, cleaning over bed tables, straightening the room and other general care as neededPrepares patients for meals; serves and removes food trays, and assists with meals or feeds patients if necessaryAnswers patient call lights, anticipates patient's needs and makes rounds to assigned patientsAssists patients with the handling of personal property: dentures, glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids, prosthetic devices, etcReports and, when appropriate, records any changes observed in the condition or behavior of patients and unusual incidentsAssists licensed nursing staff with treatment proceduresOther duties as assignedQualifications and requirements:Completion of the course for nursing assistantsCurrent state certification as a Nursing AssistantCPR/BCLS CertificationMinimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term facility preferredExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skillsAbout us
