  • Collaborate with the physician or manager to determine needs of patients
  • Uses clinical reasoning, including decision making, critical thinking and global grasps of a situation while incorporating evidence-based practice in plan of care.
  • Create a compassionate and therapeutic environment with the aim of promoting comfort and prevent unnecessary suffering
  • Makes appropriate referrals based on assessment and planning.
  • Performs initial assessments on patients first visit and reassessments as needed to include identification of actual or potential physical, psychological, pain, teaching, safety, infection control, and completes functional screenings.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited ASN or BSN program
  • Must have Indiana RN license
  • Previous RN experience preferred
License/Certification:
  • BLS certification
  • IN RN license
