- Evidence-Informed Nursing Practice: Apply best nursing practices within a holistic, multidisciplinary treatment approach that supports patient healing.
- Perform daily nursing duties such as medication administration, specimen collection, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, and patient observations.
- Order & follow up on lab tests, communicate results to providers, and escalate urgent findings.
- Address patient concerns with clear communication and provide education on medications and eating disorder-related medical issues.
- Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver ethical, high-quality care.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Assist milieu staff in supporting patients and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Transport patients to programming & outings when required
- Choose between the following shifts:
- Licensed: Must possess an active nursing license in Colorado as either an LPN OR an RN with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experienced: Prior nursing experience working with eating disorders or behavioral health/mental health is preferred but not required.
- Confident & Composed: Confident nursing skills and decision-making; remains calm in stressful situations.
- Solutions-focused Team Player: Offers ideas and collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams; flexible and adaptable.
- Eager to Learn: Motivated to better understand eating disorders and their medical challenges.
- Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn electronic medical records and other software systems.
- Professional: Demonstrates respectful communication, maintains patient confidentiality, and fosters a secure, trusting environment.
- Pay Range: RNs: $35.00-$45.00/hour and LPNs: $26.00-$30.00/hour
