
Financial Services Litigation Attorney (4-6 month assignment)

- Advise on litigation strategy for U.S. litigation, such as securities class actions and contract disputes, in collaboration with other members of the small, tight-knit in-house litigation team and senior management.
- Assist with internal and regulatory inquiries and investigations, including through the coordination of data collection, document review, and document productions, with the litigation team and outside counsel.
- Coordinate internal document preservation and collection, including electronic discovery, in conjunction with preservation and e-discovery teams and other members of the litigation team.
- Manage responses to third-party subpoenas and other requests for information.
- Support in-house employment counsel, human resources and employee relations on a broad spectrum of employment law matters, in the U.S., including: workplace investigations, leaves of absence and accommodations, separations, wage and hour, reductions in force, internal investigations, compensation and benefits, contingent workforce issues.
- JD
- 3+ years of experience experience as a litigator in a financial services company's law department and/or leading law firm handling financial services litigation (securities class actions, contract disputes), internal and regulator inquiries and employment litigation matters
- Experience preparing legal memoranda and pleadings
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills required
