Job title: Print Operator APrimary Responsibility: Daily operation of all flexographic printing equipment based on schedule,understanding and supporting total manufacturing flow in support of meeting/exceeding customers needssupport of meeting/exceeding customers needs while meeting company standards for quality, efficiencyand safety.Specific Duties:Daily operation of all flexographic printing equipment based on schedule, understanding and supporting total manufacturing flow in support of meeting/exceeding customers needsFollow process plan and quality plan, maximizing productivity and minimizing waste in every action performedWork from operating process record, prints and methods sheet, and instructionsCheck material received for proper specificationsFollow safe work practices and keep work area in a clean and orderly conditionPerform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative machine maintenanceProvides feedback and recommendations for product enhancements or improvementsAssist in the development and implementation of corrective action for qualityPerform other duties as requestedTo work with the blanking and forming teams, to achieve manufacturing targets.Maintain agreed standard of cleanliness of machine and work area.Carry out quality checks in line with procedure.Identify and report manufacturing problems and initiation of corrective action, if needed.Work to EHS, Quality and GMP standards always.Train team colleagues as requested by supervisor.Participate in TPM improvements initiated by the company.Responsible for compliance with Seda standards for work safety.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.Skill Requirements:Flexographic Printing Knowledge, water-based ink systemsHigh speed machine operating experienceStrong math skills (measurements, percentages, calculate footage, etc.)Mechanical aptitudeMethodical / structured approach to troubleshooting.Shift: 2nd shift 3:00 pm-1:00 am MON-THURS, 3-11 pm FRIJob Location: Sturtevant, WIPay: $25-32We are an equal opportunity employer
