That's the Walser Way.Compensation:$80,000-$100,000 annual salary + Annual IncentivesJob Duties (Will Include but Not Be Limited To)
  • Embrace and exhibit Walser CORE values
  • Full general ledger accountability for the dealerships in their channel; this includes:
  • Cash Management
  • Balance Sheet and associated schedules
  • Income Statement accuracy
  • Accounts Payable within the channel
  • Accounts Receivable within the channel
  • Partner with GMs to conduct financial review meetings monthly
  • Deliver executive-level financial summaries and communications (written, and verbal)
  • Serve as subject matter expert on the accounting of all OEM and related programs
  • Responsible for producing GAAP financial statements on a monthly basis
  • Oversee budget, cost controls, financial analysis, accounting practices and reporting
  • Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems for financial controls and performance
  • Maintain communication with internal accounting leaders
  • Responsible for operational knowledge of the CDK DMS system and other 3rd party software utilized in dealership operations
  • Responsible for coordinating audit requests pertaining to their dealership group
  • Responsible for assisting in the forecasting and budgeting processes for dealership entities
  • Responsible for assisting in onboarding of any acquired dealerships/dealership groups, including assistance with due diligence work
  • Drive accounting operational efficiencies
  • Develop and achieve team OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)
  • Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments
  • Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments
  • All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 years of accounting experience
  • Thorough knowledge of general accounting, including the application of general accounting theory
  • Broad conceptual judgment, initiative, and ability to deal with complex accounting issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dealership or Automotive experience highly preferred
Physical Demands
  • Moving and walking around the Corporate Office and/or other Walser locations
  • Sitting, standing, reaching, bending within a cubicle/desk area
  • Utilizing a computer for day-to-day tasks and electronic technology required by OEMs
