Job SummaryJob DescriptionJob DescriptionThe candidate should have a robust background in data modeling and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. The candidate should have essential hands-on experience with Advanced SQL and python. Proficiency in building out a Data Lake and deploying pipelines using Azure is highly desirable. Additionally, knowledge and experience in Manufacturing Domain, Power BI, Fabric, and/or holding Azure certifications, are considered a plus.Core Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for working with business and technical team to design and implement data solutions. This includes responsibility for the method and processes used to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.Design, develop, and maintain robust data models and ETL pipelines.Develop logical data models and physical database designs applied across multiple computing environments.Responsible for building new Data Lake in Azure, expanding and optimizing our data platform and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams.Responsible for designing and developing solutions in Azure big data frameworks/tools: Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, FabricWrite efficient and scalable SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and automation.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide support for escalated technical problems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.Work with product owners and business users to understand and translate user stories and/or requirements into data models, analytics reports and scenario models.Process ImprovementEnsure data quality and integrity across various data sources and systems.Maintain quality of data in the warehouse, ensuring integrity of data in the warehouse, correcting any data issuesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data engineering.Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.Develop standards, process flows and tools that promote and facilitate the mapping of data sources, document interfaces and data movement across the enterprise. Ensure design meets the requirementsBuild analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.Basic Qualifications
Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant Work Experience5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data engineering.Strong experience in data modeling and ETL processes.Advanced Hands-on SQL and Python knowledge and experience working with relational databases for data querying and retrieval.Knowledge and experience of building data lake and enterprise analytics solutions with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure services.AdditionalData Modeling tools (e.g. Erwin, Visio) knowledgeExperience with SAP HANA data modellingExperience with Talend for ETLKnowledge and experience with other cloud platforms like AWS and Google.Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) are highly desirable.Experience with Power BI / Tableau for reporting and data visualization.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The anticipated salary range for this position: $110,240.00 - $165,360.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.
