- Supports national personal lines auto product development or product segments in product and segmentation roll-outs.
- Conducts research activities regarding improved product segmentation to establish profitability, premium growth, and customer experience.
- Assesses profitability, growth, competitors' strategies, and initiative changes to the products or product segments.
- Responsible for profit/losses for assigned products or product segments.
- Assists in development of long- and short-term plans for assigned products or product segments with corresponding personal lines staff and field management staff.
- Develops and implements risk selection, pricing and contract changes for products or product segments.
- Develops and implements new products or product segments.
- Perform analysis and research in the development of product or product segment and its alignment with others.
- Works with IT and Business Operations to plan system changes and develop requirements.
- Develops product implementation procedures to ensure an orderly change or rollout.
- Facilitates through other parts of the organization to accomplish results.
- Stays abreast of industry developments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- This role, whether performed virtually or in an office setting, will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
- Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
- Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
- Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
- Visually verifies and reads information.
- Visually locates material, resources and other objects.
- Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
- Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in mathematical or statistical field preferred.
- Proficient PC Skills, including Excel, Access, SAS/Snowflake, Word and basic programming for statistical purposes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude.
- Excellent time management skills.
