We treat our employees like family, offer a friendly work atmosphere and value our employee's contributions.Our Production team is looking for a full-time dry cleaning spotter/cleaner that is skilled at stain removal, cleaning garments, operating a dry-cleaning machine as well as minor equipment maintenance and repair.Reliability and attention to detail are a must.This position starts at a competitive wage of $19/hr. and is for the Collins Cleaners location in Charlotte, NC. Your experience in the dry-cleaning industry and with equipment will ensure our customers garments and our equipment investments are well cared for.As a spotter/cleaner you will:
  • Operate dry cleaning machines and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Identify fabric types and apply proper cleaning methods
  • Inspect garments for stains, damage, or special handling needs
  • Pre-treat and remove stains using appropriate spotting techniques and chemicals
  • Press and finish garments to a high standard of appearance
  • Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness and organization
  • Follow garment care labels and company procedures
  • Communicate with team members about garments that need special attention
  • Meet daily production and quality goals
  • Ensure that pressers stay on task to meet company goals
  • Do regular maintenance as well as troubleshooting and repairs as needed
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus but not required
