Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join its nationally recognized practice. Positions are available in Orange County, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, and New York.Position OverviewThis is a premier opportunity for a mid-level associate (3–6 years of experience) to join an elite litigation team handling complex, high-impact matters across multiple industries and disciplines. The firm’s Trial, White Collar, and Investigations group offers exposure to commercial litigation, white collar defense, financial services, consumer protection, healthcare, IP, and data privacy disputes. Associates collaborate with top-tier attorneys across offices and practice groups.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of litigation, from legal research and discovery to depositions, motion practice, and trial prepDraft complaints, motions, briefs, and other pleadings with minimal supervisionParticipate in witness interviews and conduct/develop deposition strategiesCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored litigation strategies to clients across sectorsHandle complex litigation with an emphasis on business and commercial disputes, regulatory investigations, or white-collar defenseQualifications3–6 years of litigation experience, preferably including commercial litigation, trial practice, or white collar and investigationsStellar written, verbal, and analytical skillsProven ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong academic credentials from an accredited law schoolJudicial clerkship experience is a plusActive bar membership in California or New York (based on location)Compensation & BenefitsBase salary range: $250,000 – $370,000Compensation will be based on experience, skills, internal equity, and locationAdditional benefits may include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, discretionary bonuses, and other firm-wide programs
