
Specialist, Sales Support

- Be a main contact for specific customer accounts, managing expectations, relationships and taking point on solving issues.
- Work with other Sales Support Specialists to develop efficient processes; including file restructuring, customer files and quote process improvement.
- Suggest and help implement process improvements specifically regarding increased efficiency and customer information. Assist in writing and training of new Standard Operating Procedure documents to implement change.
- Be the customer advocate in resolving complaints and challenging issues.
- Receive 'request for quotations (RFQ's)' and prepare price quotations for items with and without a list price.
- Receive purchase orders, review contracts, terms and conditions, and enter orders in ERP system to submit for order processing.
- Create and maintain records/reports for account management and customer information tracking purposes.
- Help with 'no charge orders (N/Cs)' and 'returned merchandise authorization (RMAs)' which includes creating, logging, obtaining approval(s), overseeing customer communication, and/or investigating root cause to decrease frequency, etc.
- Provide occasional back up to other divisional team members regarding order entry, quoting and customer service support.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Sales Support Manager.
- Minimum three years of inside sales, project management and/or account management experience.
- High school diploma required
- Extreme experience with customer excellence.
- Desire to seek and implement process improvement projects.
- Research skills including use of internet.
- Experience with multiple computer applications such as Microsoft Office
- Problem solve and work independently
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
- You will be onsite at our Eastlake, OH facility.
- Occasional travel to customer plants.
