Be a part of driving healthy change in our communitiesAbout the PositionA Pharmacist Intern will work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide exceptional integrated care at Legacy Community Health under the supervision of a precepting pharmacist. Under a supervision of a licensed pharmacist, a Pharmacist Intern performs patient counseling, drug utilization reviews of patient profiles to prevent drug-drug interactions, drug-disease interactions, and duplicative therapies, and to increase medication adherence for the ages of clients served (0-adult).Requirements
  • Enrollment in an accredited college/university of pharmacy
  • Certification in immunization delivery
  • Valid pharmacist intern license from the Board of Pharmacy of the State of Texas
  • Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate
