We are hiring dedicated and passionate professionals to join our teamThe Lead Toddler Teacher fosters a safe and engaging environment that supports toddlers’ curiosity, independence, and rapid developmental changes. The classroom should encourage exploration, sensory experiences, and the beginnings of peer interactions.DutiesKey Responsibilities:
- Design a classroom with safe climbing equipment, manipulatives, books, pretend play items, and sensory bins.
- Create a daily schedule with consistent routines for meals, nap, transitions, and group time.
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum activities promoting motor skills, language, self-help, and emotional regulation.
- Use positive behavior guidance including redirection, choices, and modeling.
- Collaborate with families through daily reports and parent-teacher communication.
- Clearly defined centers and child-sized materials
- Encouragement of language development through naming, repetition, and songs
- Visual schedules and simple sign language or cues to support transitions
- Child-to-staff ratio of 1:7 or lower
CDA or TECTA completion in toddler age group required or experience equivalent
At least one year of toddler classroom experience
Age 18+ for Lead Teacher
DHS background, TB test, and physical clearanceNice To HavesAssociates Degree or higher
