This role combines hands-on customer service and order processing with leadership responsibilities, driving sales performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can inspire a team while managing day-to-day operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, mentor, and support the counter sales team in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Assist customers in-person, via phone, and email, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
  • Oversee small project pricing, quoting, order placement, and processing with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor order tracking and fulfillment in the system to maintain timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Lead efforts to expand the customer base and increase counter sales and profitability.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate pulling of will-calls, stocking, and inventory preparations.
  • Provide training and guidance to counter staff on products, procedures, and customer interaction.
  • Partner with branch and operations leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to company standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous leadership and sales experience in the electrical industry strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate a team and maintain a high level of customer service.
