Reporting to the Director of Quality, the Quality Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the department operates efficiently and profitably by overseeing daily operations, coordinating team activities, and delivering value-added solutions that meet client needs and align with company standards and safety protocolsWhat’s In It For You?· Competitive Base Salary· Comprehensive Benefits Package· 401(k) Matching· Opportunity to work for a growing organizationWhat You’ll Be Responsible For:
  • Planning, coordinating, and controlling customer service team activities to meet objectives, maintain relationships, and ensure compliance with client reporting and safety protocols
  • Assigning and monitoring tasks to meet performance expectations and address work deficiencies promptly to avoid disruptions
  • Training Team Leads, Inspectors, and clients on procedures, standards, ordering processes, and policy changes, including developing work instructions and supporting employee training on inspection, rework, sorting, and packaging
  • Initiating client contact before projects and managing relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinating new jobs, including layout, material handling, staffing, and resource allocation based on demand forecasts
  • Documenting, communicating, and retraining teams as client criteria evolve
  • Understanding production expectations, ensuring targets are met, and reporting non-conformances to the Quality Department for resolution
  • Developing relationships with customers and suppliers to encourage business growth and launching new initiatives such as new customers, locations, or services
  • Reviewing projects to ensure best practices are applied and understood, while ensuring all teams operate within company requirements
The Ideal Candidate:· 3+ years of direct manufacturing experience in an automotive environment, managing customer and employee relations; Tier 1 experience preferred
  • Strong root cause analysis, presentation, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Flexible to work assigned hours based on business needs
  • Thorough knowledge of automotive quality systems and initiatives, with ability to identify potential failures and implement corrective actions
  • Entrepreneurial skills with experience managing a small to medium-sized business
