Job Summary:This role is for an MRI Technologist responsible for performing a variety of MRI exams on adult patients in a Level II Trauma Center setting. The technologist will work independently, managing a daily caseload of 30-40 exams, and will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal imaging results. Experience in adult acute care, adult ICU, and ER/Trauma settings is required.Location: Everett, Washington, United States,Responsibilities:- Performing 30-40 MRI exams daily on adult patients with varying acuity levels.
- Utilizing Epic electronic health record system.
- Performing a variety of MRI exams, including specialized studies (Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI on day shift, and more general scans on night shift).
- Collaborating with RNs and other staff to assist patients as needed.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Adhering to safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.Required Skills & Certifications:- ARRT-CT certification.
- ARRT-MR certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active Washington State license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting.
- Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, and ER/Trauma settings.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.Preferred Skills & Certifications:- Experience with neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patients.Special Considerations:- This is a 3x12-hour day shift position (Wednesday-Friday).
- No weekend requirements.
- No on-call requirements (agency staff may volunteer but are not required).
- No floating between units.
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed but may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- One 10-hour shift may be cancelled per two-week period.
- 50-mile radius restriction for applicants.
- Facility-paid parking.Scheduling:- 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week (Wednesday-Friday).
- No on-call requirements.
- Potential for one 10-hour shift cancellation per two-week period.
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
