
HR Generalist

- Oversee the entire recruiting process, from drafting and posting roles to coordinating interviews, gathering feedback, and extending offers; also ensure all role descriptions are accurate and current
- Administer onboarding and exit processes for employees
- Partner with leadership to design training resources for new hires, keep records of staff certifications and licenses, and organize company-wide learning sessions
- Support benefit programs by managing the relationship with the PEO provider and serving as the internal contact for employee questions
- Act as a resource for resolving workplace disputes by approaching issues with fairness, discretion, and compliance with employment regulations
- Provide guidance to managers on how to coach and develop their teams
- Work with the HR Director on employee performance initiatives, including reviews, goal-setting, and feedback tools
- Coordinate with the PEO provider on employee leaves of absence
- Assist the HR Director with designing, rolling out, and maintaining HR policies and practices
- Monitor compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels
- Create and drive engagement programs aimed at increasing retention and building morale
- Foster a collaborative workplace culture by building strong employee relationships and promoting trust
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
- At least 3 years of progressive HR experience
- Background in smaller organizations; experience supporting multi-location or remote teams is a plus
- History of working closely with executive leadership, including C-suite
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Skilled in relationship management and conflict resolution
- Ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the business
- Highly organized with a sharp eye for detail
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to prioritize and delegate effectively when needed
- Discreet and dependable when handling confidential matters
- Solid understanding of employment laws and HR compliance standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
