- Bachelor's degree in a related STEM degree
- Minimum 5 years' relevant engineering experience
- Experience with FPGA, ASIC and/or firmware
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Advanced STEM related degree
- Digital and analog circuit design principles including analysis, simulation & testing
- Microcontrollers, embedded systems & programming languages, i.e. C, C++ and Assembly
- Scripting languages, i.e. Python, Perl
- PCB design and layout tools, i.e. Altium, Cadence, and Eagle
- FPGA and ASIC design principles including RTL design, VHDL, Verilog & digital logic design
- EMC principles & practices, including shielding, grounding & filtering
- Vitis HLS and other FPGA development tools, including Vivado and Quartus
- Digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms on FPGAs
- Understanding of digital system design principles
- Knowledge of communication protocols and interfaces, including PCIe, AXI, and SPI
- Firmware development tools, i.e. compilers & assemblers, debuggers & emulators, version control systems (Git, SVN)
- Active Secret Security Clearance
