Our company is seeking a Systems Networking Engineer in Nashville to join our team of highly skilled professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure, including VOIP systems and security protocols. The Systems Networking Engineer will also troubleshoot network issues, perform network monitoring, and provide technical support to end-users.Systems Networking Engineer:
  • Design, implement, and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VOIP systems.
  • Configure and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, identifying and resolving network outages and other issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with vendors to evaluate and select new network hardware and software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, including training and troubleshooting.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends related to networking and security.Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in network engineering, with a focus on design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
  • Experience with VOIP systems and protocols, such as SIP and H.323.
Familiarity with network security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs. * Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools, such as Wireshark.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. * Project management experience preferred.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, preferred.
